As I was walking down the street, overly dressed for the unseasonable weather yet appropriately for December, I realised I was way more annoyed by the scarf than I was about the start of the rain. And we will all agree that start of rain is worse than rain that’s been in progress for a while. It’s the change of weather that trips us up, isn’t it?
